    Director, FX Cash and EM Rates Product Owner Permanent - Full Time

    Implement the short, medium and long term FX Cash & EMstrategy with business heads to maximise business outcomes.

    • Balance FX Cash & EM Technology and Process Strategywith other constraints (cost pressure, ops risk, regulatory,efficiency initiatives etc.)
    • Actively manage the balancebetween regulatory / mandatory / platform delivery and business growthdelivery
    • Monitoring andCommunication: Risk, Finance,PC)
    • Establish a framework of measurable BusinessOutcomes across the asset class which can be used to track progressand inform prioritisation decisions
    Management andLeadership

    • Maximise Technology delivery into the FX Cash & EMBusiness by using the Product Owner model across the asset class
    • Theyshould lead and enable technology teams: removing blockers, answeringquestions and providing information which helps the delivery team movequicker.
    • Use experience and analysis to identify and maximisepotential Platform synergies ( shared systems / components / data /functionality etc.) Help the annual budgetingprocess to be as transparent and effective as possible, ensuring FXCash & EM can obtain the maximum amount of funding by developing clearand defendable plans and business outcomes.
    Management ofRisk (Operational Risk / FIM requirements)

    • Is aware of theOperational Risk scenario associated with the role and acts in amanner that takes account of operational risk considerations.
    • Is aware of the Non-Financial Risks associated with the Changeportfolio and ensures that risks are mitigated or escalated to theappropriate governance forum ( Business Control Committee)
    Observation of Internal Controls (Compliance Policy / FIMrequirements)

    • Maintains
      HSBCinternal control standards,including timely implementation of internal and external audit pointstogether with any issues raised by external regulators.
    • Understands, follows and demonstrates compliance with all relevantinternal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply tothe conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involved,specifically Internal Controls and any Compliance policy including,inter alia, the Group Compliance policy.

    • Requirements
    • Experience in FX Cash and EM RatesFront Office or Technology role.
    • Quantitative background and/orextensive experience with risk models, etc.
    • Robust stakeholder management – able to get things done and 'hold theline' when required.
