Description

We are looking for experienced mental health practitioners who have experience of acute assessment of older adults or working age adults.

The post holder will be working in a fast moving environment working with service users presenting to the A&E department or admitted for medical care to the general hospital.


The role will require close working with the Acute Trusts across a range of services to ensure early identification of mental health issues.


The team will work with Service Users from age 18 upwards and would welcome qualified nurses with experience of acute assessment of older or younger adults in a community setting to ensure faster decision making and earlier discharge.

Both teams would partially welcome applicants with experience of assessing older people.


The successful applicants will need excellent assessment and communication skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
