BMC are currently looking for an Mortgage Advisor to join our clients expanding Newcastle team who are a national financial services company.

Are you an experienced Mortgage Advisor with a proven track record of self-motivation, driving initiative, developing business leads and working to targets? Do you have the skills and attributes to improve our customers experience throughout the mortgageprocess?


You will need to be an adaptable self-starter who is motivated to achieve and comfortable working in a fast paced, target driven environment.


Hours:
Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm (35 hours)


Salary:
Competitive, dependant on experience and qualifications

Main responsibilities:


  • You will provide clients with Mortgage advice and make recommendations on how to best meet their goals.
  • You will be able to research the marketplace on available products and services, identify customers' needs and gain commitment from clients to proceed with your recommendations.
  • You will be successful in generating new business, using initiative in personal and business development and will take part in regular branch meetings to discuss best practice and build lasting relationships.
  • You will be an ambassador of our client as the premier provider of quality financial solutions and establish relationships and new business from clients.

Essential Skills and experience:


  • CeMap Qualified.
  • Experience in a pressurised role working towards targets and deadlines.
  • Good understanding of the full Mortgage Process from initial inception through to completion.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and exceptional customer service, to ensure the highest levels of performance are achieved.
  • Resilient, organised, numerate and detail oriented.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing across various audiences.
  • Experience of working with Financial Planners and an understanding of the full financial planning picture.
  • A Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
