About The Role:


We are looking for a Patient Services Administrator, to join our Patient Services Team on a full-time permanent basis, working remotely within our Diagnostic World Ultrasound department.

As a Patient Services Administrator, you will be part of a small, highly focused team providing an excellent patient telephone service for Ultrasound within the community.

The shift pattern is between 8am-4pm and 11am-7pm with alternate Saturdays.


What you will do:


  • Calling patients to book them in for their Ultrasound appointment at one of our clinics across the country
  • Answer high volumes of incoming calls from patients to book appointments or to answer queries.
  • You will use IT systems to load patient referrals, book patient appointments and link these to the patients' medical files for the relevant parties.
  • You will work as part of a team and be target driven to book in patients to fill our clinic spaces.
  • You will be responsible for following up your administration tasks.
  • You will require versatility and attention to detail to meet the demands of our differing instructing parties and contracts.

About you:


  • Experience within an outbound call centre; desirable but not essential
  • Experience of working in a fastpaced environment, with a proven ability to meet targets and deadlines
  • Good IT Skills
  • A flexible approach with an ability to adapt quickly to meet the demands of a busy environment
  • Conscientious with a meticulous approach to dealing with detail
  • Selfstarter: ability to use initiative and work with minimum supervision
