Youth Workers

  • SEN Provisions in Blackburn, Burnley and Rawtenstall.
  • Experienced Youth or Community Support Worker
  • Multiple fulltime roles
- £ £13.00 p/h.

  • Start date varies from ASAP


We are looking to recruit
additional support staff members, ideally experienced Youth/ Support Workers for employment in specialist schools based in the East Lancashire area.

These specialist provision caters for children with SEMH and Autism who can often display challenging behaviours.

These posts are to start on a full-time basis (varied hours), you will be required to work during term-time, with the view of becoming a permanent member of staff.


The class sizes vary between generally 6-8 pupils and having effective support within school is crucial to supporting the students appropriately.

You will have strong interpersonal skills in order to communicate with families, carers and a multidisciplinary team of teaching staff, social workers and educational psychologists.

You will be organised, patient and confident, with a sound understanding of the key issues currently affecting young people.

  • Specialist Secondary provision in Rawtenstall
  • BB4 (SEMH)
  • Pupil Support Worker
  • As soon as possible
  • Fulltime role available (8.15am 3.00pm)
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
