£27000 to £44000per annum

Our REED Education FE branch are currently working with a Procurement and Supply Training Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Centre of Excellence with an outstanding record on an exciting new role for a Tutor.


Starting immediately, the TP are looking for an outstanding for CIPS Business Tutor to join them on a permanent basis.


The Role:


This role will involve delivering courses to students for a range of CIPS Programmes from Advanced Certificate to Professional Diploma and including CIPS Apprenticeships.

Delivery of courses is currently primarily online.

Co-ordinate and deliver CIPS programmes of study for groups of students.

Develop best practice in learning, teaching and assessment ensuring standardisation and continuity.

Assess students according to established guidelines.

Design, develop and monitor learning resources for student use.

Provide accurate current feedback on progress and outcomes to managers and students.

Monitor and manage student attendance and maintain appropriate standards of behaviour.


Keep up to date with curriculum initiatives, development of standards and general developmental and professional issues relating to the delivery of learning.

Implement quality procedures as part of a team, contributing to thorough, evaluative programme reviews which feed into external regulator monitoring processes including CIPS and OFSTED

  • Experienced tutor with at least 3 years' experience teaching business studies or at least 3 years' experience working in a procurement or supply chain related role
  • Ideally qualified to CIPS Professional Diploma level or willing to work towards becoming qualified to a minimum of the CIPS Diploma in Procurement and Supply (Level 4)
  • Committed to developing learners' skills and technical understanding
  • Effective curriculum and lesson planning which meets individual needs is essential

Strong presentation skills, including ability and willingness to communicate via online platforms.
