Role of a Legal Director / Partner - Real Estate Finance:

Promotes and drives high standards of service and accuracy across the department or team
Takes responsibility and accountability for ensuring that the Firm's and Regulator's Standards are consistently met by oneself and their team
Develops and implements benchmarks for the delivery of service
Has and maintains the respect of clients and colleagues by being fair and consistent and acting as a role model for others
Directly bills and/or controls billing in line with agreed target
Maintains a constant focus on all aspects of performance and ensures that the main strategic priorities are translated into clear objectives and practical actions for the team

- proactive in the market to develop and build opportunities and win and sustain new business to enable team to deliver overall financial targets

Acts as an ambassador for the Firm at all levels within the Firm and externally
Sustains long term, commercially valuable relationships
Uses technical expertise and knowledge to actively promote the Firm (e.g. public speaking, publishing articles etc.)
Recognised as a trusted advisor both internally and externally
Imparts own knowledge and expertise to more junior members of the department
Able to overcome technical difficulties and problem solve effectively and where appropriate creatively
Market facing with good connections within the finance industry ideally locally and nationally
Experienced in acting for lenders and able to provide commercial advice

About You:

***As a
Partner you will need to have:

Minimum PQE of 10 years or a Senior Associate ready for a Partner position
Technical expertise in your field
Supervisory responsibility for a team of junior lawyers
Understands the drivers of profitability in the Firm and have the ability to deliver a business plan in line with these
Ability to generate work for oneself and the team to meet annual billing target as agreed
Willingness to commit to roles and responsibilities outside area of legal focus
Understands the 24/7 structure of service to clients and manages self and others to ensure service levels are not compromised
