Meraki Talent's client is currently recruiting for a Senior Private Asset Specialist to join their multinational banking and financial services organisation.

The role would be based in Edinburgh with a Hybrid working model. Technically speaking they are looking for an individual with experience working within fund accounting/reporting with exposure to private assets. The successful individual will be involved in the growth of this area of business for Funds Service.

Responsibilities of the Senior Private Asset Specialist

Develop and maintain good working relationships with third parties and client contacts such as external technology providers and audit firms
Provide knowledge and expertise to accounting requirements for the asset class and fund jurisdictions
Providing technical accounting oversight to the private asset book, involving, private debt, private equity asset classes and real estate
Ensuring requirements are covered and all technical accounting standards are maintained

Background of the Senior Private Asset Specialist

Past working experience in a Fund Accounting or similar role
Experience in dealing directly with external clients and third parties
Ability to establish and maintain great working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Able to manage workload effectively in order to meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills
