    Job Description:

    A dynamic and forward-thinking financial software solutions company is seeking a skilled Sales Manager to join our team. This role is perfect for a driven individual passionate about expanding business opportunities in the private markets sector, specifically targeting Pension Funds, Insurance Companies, Asset Managers in Banks, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Asset Advisors, multi-funds managers, and Fund of Hedge Funds.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Actively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with institutional asset owners across EMEA.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within target markets.
    • Understand and effectively communicate the company's value proposition to potential clients.
    • Team-minded and able to conduct a full sales process by involving product specialists, client support teams and if necessary utilising BDRs for cold-calling efficiency.
    • Manage web meetings with the product specialist, install the software trial, follow up with the Client support team, explain on-premise vs cloud installation, and explain investment funds' due diligence vs operational funds' due diligence.

    Qualifications:

    • At least 4 years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role, selling SaaS solutions - preferably to buy-side clients. Ideally, this will be through acquiring new logos, driving new revenue from existing accounts is also valuable.
    • Has had direct management experience with sales teams and has a passion for driving a sales team to exceed targets
    • Proven track record of successfully acquiring new business and meeting sales targets.
    • Strong knowledge of alternative fund managers and the institutions within this space, particularly asset owners.
    • Ability to articulate the differences between fund managers and understands how asset owners choose funds
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
