We're on the lookout for a talented Junior Firmware Engineer to join our team, contributing to the development of state-of-the-art on-board computation and control systems for satellite launch systems.

    Role Overview:

    As a Junior Firmware Engineer at Aurora Avionics, you'll have the exciting opportunity to design cutting-edge computation and control solutions utilizing the latest design, verification, and validation tools. Your primary responsibilities will include developing system logic for crucial avionics functions, collaborating closely with software and electronics design teams.

    Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in influencing high-level system architecture within a multidisciplinary team.     Preferred Skills:

    • Knowledge of aerospace designs
    • Technical or engineering-based degree with at least 2 years of industry experience in FPGA development.
    • Familiarity with FPGA design tools
    • Experience with TCL scripting
    • Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink
    • Understanding of board-level design principles (e.g., power supplies, I/O)
    • Familiarity with Embedded Software/RTOS
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Preference for EU & UK applicants
