What you'll be doing:


We are looking for enthusiastic individual to join our Operations team and supervise the Stores department and direct daily activities to ensure timely receipt of incoming goods, effective & accurate inventory control and packing & shipping of finished goods to fulfil customer orders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the workload within the Stores Department through allocating work and setting priorities.
  • Supervise the Stores Assistant, setting objectives, carrying out annual appraisals and approving holidays.
  • Manage and maintain raw material and stocked product inventory including stock profiles and stock locations.
  • Coordinate and assist in the management of inventory stock counting / inventory accuracy checks.
  • Coordinate and assist with the disposal of excess and obsolete inventory as instructed.
  • Oversee the selection of correct items against the pick list to fulfil customer orders in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the packing, labelling and shipping of completed customer orders.
  • Liaise with internal compliance team on relevant export documentation.
  • Identify, distribute and coordinate the storage of received goods to ensure material and component traceability.
  • Ensuring goods are stored in accordance with Health and Safety, liaising with QHSE when necessary.
  • Provide support and cover for the Compliance and Business Support Administrator handling import and export matters. Duties will include, issuing clearance instructions for imports, issuing export statements ensuring export licences are correct and in place prior to shipment, liaising with shipping agents.
  • Attend weekly production and revenue meetings, ensuring any assigned tasks are completed and priorities actioned.
  • Ensure all relevant QEHS procedures are followed as required.
  • Environmentally aware, reducing packaging waste.
  • Other duties as assigned by line management

What we're looking for in you:

  • Experience of working in a Stores/Warehouse environment.
  • Experience of operating ERP software
  • You should have practical Forklift experience along with a current FLT licence
  • Full driving licence.
