Signalling Technician

Newcastle Upon Tyne

£37,900 Per Annum

7 days a week

Full Time Position

A Public Transport and Local Information company is looking for a skilled Signalling Technician with experience of maintenance and fault finding of railway signalling equipment and systems.

This role calls for a true team leader who has the ability to takecharge and has knowledge of good shift work.

You will need to convey excellent troubleshooting skills and have attention to detail while possessing a good understanding of railway technologies.


Some key duties of a Signalling Technician:

  • You will be responsible for the maintenance.
  • Diagnose technical faults and repair of all signalling equipment and systems.
  • As well as install all company signalling equipment.

To be considered for this position, you'll need:

  • Valid driver's licence is essential.
  • An ONC or equivalent in Electronics / Electrical Engineering is required.
  • 2 to 3 years in a similar role.
