    Job DescriptionA Tier 1 bank is looking for an SRE Team Lead - this is a hands-on position, providing technical guidance and leadership to a team of 4 Senior SREs, whilst leading from the front from both an architectural and implementation perspective This is an opportunity to join a very high-impact project, working on a pioneering platform affecting millions of customers Location: 1 day/week in London Salary on offer: up to £140k + up to 25% bonus, 10% pension, 10% benefits allowance, on-call allowance & 30 days of AL.The total package on offer is in the region of £200k.


    Must have requirements:
    software engineering background - ideally you would have worked as a Back-end or Full-stack developer, before shifting your focus to SRE/Platform Engineering (Java preferred)extensive experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD toolsstrong observability experience, ideally with more modern approaches like Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry comfortable with databasesexposure to Kafka would be ideal
