You will support the Asset Management function and the Standards Manager to deliver the approach to setting and monitoring Group standards for property and land maintenance, As well as contributing to the materials specification through knowledge and understanding of building regulations and standards, and associated quality assurance activity.

Contributing to the development of Asset policies and associated business processes, monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on progress to key stakeholders on adherence and non-compliance, ensuring the successful delivery of the Asset Management Strategy.

**So, who are you?

You will have experience within the building industry, ideally working within a customer focused Business Management team.

With good knowledge and experience of identifying, implementing, and monitoring standards for property and land maintenance.


You are customer focused with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work at all levels within the business.

Although not Essential it is Desirable to have Knowledge of policy and procedural report writing.

Have relevant building, maintenance, compliance or facilities management qualification

Role requires you to:


  • Contribute to the development, implementation and review of the asset strategy and delivery standards framework including associated business processes and cost framework to ensure the effective management of Group assets.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across The Riverside Group to ensure Asset standards underpinning business processes are fit for purpose, communicated effectively and embedded fully across the Group.
  • Contribute to the monitoring, review and reporting to key stakeholders including the Head of Business Management and the Director of Asset Strategy and Delivery on compliance and quality assurance with standards and business processes, ensuring appropriate actions are implemented to address underperformance and continuous improvement
  • Support the Standards Manager to monitor, review and report on the performance of the service, and compliance with standards and business processes to key stakeholders including the Head of Business Management and the Director of Asset Strategy and Delivery, ensuring the provision of a suite of accurate and timely reports to key stakeholders including the regional teams, with detailed analysis of Asset standards compliance, highlighting trends, issues and potential risks.
  • Support the Standards Manager to develop, implement and review the cost framework to support the Group's asset standards, working with key stakeholders to ensure effective implementation and compliance as required.
  • Commission quality assurance checks, review the outcomes and review allocation of quality assurance inspection volumes through all Asset Strategy & Delivery workstreams.
  • Follow quality assurance procedures through occasional onsite inspections and customer engagement
  • Support the Standards Manager in the review of component standards and specifications to ensure suitability and effectiveness, ensuring adherence to legislative requirements.
  • Working with our Procurement team and suppliers to ensure value for money is achieved.
  • Identify and address data quality issues to ensure that data integrity and protection standards are met, taking responsibility for inputting and completion of statutory, regulatory or other external reporting as required.
  • Contribute to the development, review and effective use of Asset Management policies and procedures, identifying areas where amendments are required as a result of legislative changes, policy updates or customer and stakeholder needs.
