Position:

We're seeking a talented and creative web designer to join our dynamic team in the William Reed Crawley offices.

In this role, you will help shape the digital presence of our products by focusing on design, coding, integration, and iterative improvements.


What you'll be doing as a Web Designer:

  • Ideation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualise and brainstorm innovative web design ideas.
  • Design: Create visually appealing and userfriendly website layouts, user interfaces, and graphics that enhance our online presence and resonate with our target audience.
  • Coding: Translate design concepts into clean, responsive, and functional code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring seamless integration with our existing systems.
  • Integration: Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to integrate frontend designs with backend systems.
  • Iteration: Continuously analyse user feedback, conduct usability testing, and gather data to identify areas for improvement. Implement iterative design enhancements to optimise user engagement and conversion rates.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing to identify and address bugs, errors, and performance issues, ensuring the highest quality in all deliverables.
  • Industry Trends: Stay updated with the latest web design trends, tools, and technologies, bringing fresh ideas and best practices to the team.

Requirements:

**What you'll need: - Proven experience as a Web Designer, demonstrating a solid portfolio showcasing innovative designs and coding skills.

  • Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
  • Team player: be able to work autonomously and as part of a team. Proactive in nature.
  • Experience with design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud or Figma.
  • Solid understanding of usercentred design principles and UX/UI best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and visual elements.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) for collaborative development.
  • Understanding of good development process including documentation
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment.
  • Ability to summarise for nontechnical personnel.
