    Band 6 Senior Nurse Anticoagulation/DVT service.

    Applications are invited from registered nurses who wish to join a friendly, dynamic and progressive team based within City Health Care Partnership CIC Community Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)/Anticoagulation service.

    Shifts will include weekend working and bank holidays.

    The post will combine clinical practice, leadership and care management to promote nurse led anticoagulation care within the community.

    You must be flexible in your approach to practice, have excellent communication skills, be adaptable and able to lead and drive forward change ensuring patient safety is maintained at all times.

    Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, guidance and local initiatives and issues in relation to unplanned care
    Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
    Knowledge of the legal framework surrounding medications prescribed or supplied, including PGDs, PSDs, EOL care pathways etc
    Experience of multi-disciplinary team working and working with patients with acute medical conditions
    Demonstrate experience of utilising a variety of software packages e.g. Patient Centre, SystmOne, E-Mail, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
    Demonstrate experience of flexible workload
    Demonstrate experience and competency in supervision and support of others in prioritisation of patient care e.g. junior staff, non-registered staff and students
