Spinwell is recruiting for a Senior Supplier and Contract Management Lead for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR SUPPLIER AND CONTRACT MANAGEMENT LEAD
- Develop and enhance contract management activities, monitoring adherence to KPI's, negotiating contract change and value
- Develop the Strategic relationship management programme for key suppliers
- Lead Commercial functional support on all Contract Management matters including risk management, Supplier management, contract reviews, assurance and reporting
- Develop strong strategic relationships with stakeholders and suppliers, maximising opportunities to collaborate, achieve efficiencies, improve capability
- Expert knowledge in complex Commercial relationship management and contracting processes
- Support gathering commercial requirements from spending teams, proactively working across the organisation to ensure future needs are understood and documented
- Lead the operation and management of Strategic Supplier Review meetings, ensuring that complex relationship issues are resolved and KPI's are monitored for progress
- Manage the commercial team to ensure all commercial documentation is retained and stored and utilised effectively to manage the future pipeline of activities.
- Lead on the development of commercial analysis and metric reporting. Enhance process management and tooling across contract and supplier management activities.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE SENIOR SUPPLIER AND CONTRACT MANAGEMENT LEAD
- Significant experience of successful contract & supplier management, demonstrating improved value, operational effectiveness & reduced risk, identifying opportunities to deliver against your organisation's priorities
- Senior Commercial/Procurement experience with evidence of influencing at suppliers at director level, must have excellent communication skills
- Effectively builds & maintains a range of colleague, internal and external stakeholder relationships, working collaboratively, providing clear advice & support with a track record of influencing at executive and senior levels
- Politically astute able to navigate internal politics at all levels. Understands and manages conflicting agenda
- Experience within government and IT sector would be preferably, ideally with experience in secure service delivery.
