- Program, set up, and operate CNC multi-axis lathes to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Select and install cutting tools, adjust tool offsets, and make necessary machine adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
- Interpret and modify CNC programs as needed to optimize machining processes and minimize cycle times.
- Perform regular machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations and prevent downtime.
- Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify part dimensions and tolerances.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner with proficiency in programming, setting, and operating multi-axis lathes.
- Proficiency with Fanuc, Mazatrol, or Siemens controls is required.
- Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling selection, and cutting parameters.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T symbols.
