This is a job opportunity to join a friendly and enthusiastic team delivering administrative support to the Dorset Children in Care Health Team in the Review Health Assessment process as well as supporting the Children In Care Health Team (CiCHT) in providing the delivery of the Children In Care Health Agenda.

Work with team to ensure effective office cover during office hours (8.30am - 4:30pm).

This job can be located in Dorchester or Poole area, there is also home working available.

To support in the co-ordination of statutory Review Health Assessments.

Collate and formulate statistical data required relating to Key Performance Indicators in relation to the Initial and Review Health Assessments,

Develop, manage and maintain a full range of office systems, including filing, prioritising correspondence and message taking.


Be confident in telephone communication with staff/carers and young people, taking appropriate action in dealing with correspondence as required, ensuring information is passed on to relevant team members/personal.

To create and maintain CiC health records in line with policy and procedures including archiving of records.


Compile, collate and display data gathered with due regard for patient/client confidentiality in line with the data protection act and Dorset Healthcare (DHC) information governance policies.


Be confident in using general secretarial skills, word processing, database, and have experience of creating graphs, charts and pie charts plus hold ECDL or have taken the Elite test, or equivalent.


To ensure health information is kept up to date on SystmOne and local authority information system 'MOSAIC', and input activity data daily/monthly.

To act as point of contact for all agencies, disciplines and Heads of Service.
