- Provide accurate, timely and insightful information to the Operations leadership teams to provide control and challenge over operational costs including relevant KPI analysis.
- Support the Operations leadership teams in understanding and controlling costs whilst helping drive operational efficiencies.
- Support the Senior Business Partner in providing the right balance of challenge and support to the Operations Directors around commercial decision making.
- Lead on month end for all operational cost lines, providing variance analysis to budget across all operational companies within the Autocentres estate, business partnering with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that cost lines are accurate and complete.
- Lead on the budgeting and reforecasting processes during the annual business cycle for all operational cost lines across the operational companies within the Autocentres estate to ensure budgets are realistic but ensuring tight cost control.
- Track Opex/Capex project spend for operational cost lines.
- Experience within Retail or fast paced sector preferred, . FMCG.
- Part Qualified at Strategic level studying towards either CIMA/ACCA
- Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel. The ability to use Microsoft Access at a high level is highly desirable but not essential for this position.
- Experience with using SAP desirable but not essential.
- Strong Communication & presentation skills.
- Absolute commitment to quality with a high attention to detail.
- Comfortable working under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Comfortable being able to handle large quantities of data and analyse data to inform commercial making decisions.

Overview of the role:
As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will provide finance support to our Operations Leadership teams within the Autocentres estate, who are responsible for delivering motoring services across our garage locations and mobile vans.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner – Autocentre Operations, the role holder will help drive operational performance improvements through leading commercial reporting and insight into operational costs.
The current roles and responsibilities are designed for a Senior Finance Analyst with experience / eagerness to learn in that, along with key reporting responsibilities, the role also assumes Business Partnering responsibilities for the Business.
