*Kitchen Sales Designer - Guildford - £24,000 (base) - £55,000 (ote)

Here is a role for someone who is an experienced Kitchen Sales Designer and who feels they are ready to step their career up a gear without sacrificing the experience they have gained to date.

Our long-term client is a well-respected manufacturer of high-end Kitchens with around thirty state-of-the-art showrooms across the UK. We have been asked to identify and attract an experienced Kitchen Sales Executive for their Guildford branch.

What is important to understand is that the Sales Designer does far more than just sell the concept and the company, create a few designs and hand the project over.

The Kitchen Sales Designer is the Project Manager from start to finish with a beautifully installed kitchen. The glue that holds the project together. The person who co-ordinates the internal teams and liaises with the client at all stages.

*The role:

Selling our bespoke, handmade furniture to clients.
Project managing kitchen projects from initial interest to project completion.
Designing kitchens with the customer using ArtiCAD.
Meeting and exceeding KPI's.
Providing outstanding customer service.
Working alongside the Showroom Administration Manager to ensure every specification is perfect.
Liaising with Manufacturing and Head Office staff to survey,produce, deliver, install, and paint all projects.

A big role and far more than many Kitchen Salespeople would be used to managing or, in many cases, would be capable of managing.

*The Process:

Our client values their Kitchen Sales Designers. They want to make sure that they do everything possible to retain the very best people.

They achieve this by ensuring that, at the point of a job offer, they can be as sure as is possible that they have a good match.

For this reason, there are two initial stages which are conducted virtually before meeting the Showroom Manager and the Sales Manager.

It need not lengthen the process and allows the offered individual to be confident that they have been selected, not in the _hope_ that they will be successful, but in the _belief_ that they will succeed.

*Rewards:

The role commands an excellent starting salary of £24,000, with a commission structure which sees the top of Sales Designers earning more than £80,000 a year.
