An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled, innovative and enthusiastic senior pharmacist to join our Clinical Pharmacy team.The department provides a stimulating, friendly and professionally rewarding environment for staff to develop their clinical and professional expertise.
The post holder will lead, deliver, develop, manages and evaluate the clinical pharmacy services for virtual wards.
The focus of the post is on ensuring the provision of high quality, safe, comprehensive (clinical, supply, financial and operational) pharmaceutical service to virtual wards in accordance with the priorities set by the Pharmacy Clinical Services Manger and Deputy Chief Pharmacist.
There has never been a more exciting time to join West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust Major redevelopment works are planned as part of the New Hospital Programme.
The trust has recently gained 'teaching hospital' status which reflects the dedicated work of many teams and individuals who have set the standard for delivering high quality training, learning and education at all levels of the workforce.
To support the Deputy Chief Pharmacist, Chief Pharmacist and Pharmacy Leadership Team in leading and developing the pharmacy service.
The post holder is expected to act as a role model in line with corporate objectives, NHS plan and the ICB system priorities.
