Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Supervisor

• BSW Timber – Corpach, Fort William, PH33 7AP

• Day Shift

• Full-time / Permanent

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll enjoy direct responsibility for both day-to-day and longer term provision of mechanical engineering maintenance at this advanced sawmill.

Specifically, this will involve:

• Working closely with the shift teams to deliver the weekly preventative maintenance plan
• The provision of technical support and ongoing development of our preventative maintenance system to improve and increase plant uptime
• Active involvement in contractor management and small projects, as well as critical spares provision, the roll out of lean systems and 'out of hours' response as required.

As the Mechanical/ElectricalEngineering Supervisor, you should have relevant experience and must be :

• Capable of applying your problem solving skills and knowledge of continuous improvement to good effect, especially in the areas of repetitive breakdown
• Computer literate and have first rate organisation, communication and influencing skills
• Able to consistently deliver when working under pressure, as well as being committed to both individual and team successes
