    Description

    As an Azure Consultant in the pre-sales team at Bechtle, you will be responsible for engaging with potential clients to understand their business requirements and architecting cloud solutions that leverage Microsoft Azure technologies. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, customer-facing skills, and a deep understanding of Azure services to design solutions that meet and exceed client expectations.

    Job Role Responsibilities

    • Engage with potential clients to understand their business requirements, challenges, and technology landscape.
    • Design and architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions on Microsoft Azure that meet the client's business and technical requirements.
    • Present and explain the proposed solutions to clients, including the value proposition, technical details, and implementation roadmap.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to align the technical solution with the client's business objectives and sales strategies.
    • Conduct technical workshops and proof-of-concepts (POCs) to demonstrate the feasibility and benefits of the Azure solutions.
    • Keep abreast of the latest Azure services and technologies, as well as industry trends, to ensure proposed solutions are innovative and competitive.
    • Act as a liaison between the sales team and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on solution design and implementation.
    • Provide feedback to the sales team and relevant pillars on client needs and market trends to help shape future Azure offerings.
    • Develop and maintain technical documentation related to solution architecture and design.
    • When required, work alongside Professional Services team supporting in project delivery/implementation.

    Experience

    • Desirable, bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
    • Certifications in Microsoft Azure, such as the Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Developer Associate, are highly desirable.
    • Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in pre-sales, consulting, or technical sales.
    • Experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, with a strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices.
    • Deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Compute, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Security and Azure Virtual Desktop.
