Position:


  • Perform professional duties related to the testing phases (SIT, UAT, NFT) on software projects and programmes
  • Coordinate the creation of test scripts, creating test plans, vendor management during test and ensuring that testing activities are completed in accordance with those plans
  • Responsible for test design, execution, scheduling, defect logging, reporting, liaising with the development teams on getting issues resolved and updating test/project management on testing progress

Requirements:


Qualifications/Experience

  • Extensive experience in large transformation projects
  • Experienced in the leading of testing efforts; planning, scheduling & reporting
  • Experience in lending, banking or financial services industry and familiarity with the supporting systems
  • Excellent interpersonal & written communication skills. Ability to present ideas in business friendly language
  • Ability to manage aggressive timelines and workload requirements
  • ISTQB foundation level certification (minimum)

Other information:


  • Leading testers (all test phases) coordinating and executing test design & execution.
  • Provide and deliver on estimates for testing activities within the test lifecycle and create robust test plans/schedules to ensure that committed dates are met.
  • Liaise with the test team & business testers to ensure that testers are aligned to the overall plan and governance
  • Track and report on the testing activities including results, coverage, resource, defects and execution.
  • Production and management of test cases and test scripts
  • Raising accurate and detailed defects with the development teams and liaising with them in order to get a resolution
  • Highlighting product and project risks with test management and updating on test execution progress
Ensuring testing activities follow the procedures outlined within the HTB test policy & process
