About The Role:

The role is weekdays 9:30 - 3:00pm, term-time only. Some flexibility to work outside these hours to cover annual leave in the administration team is also desirable.

The role is based at the Compass Be office in Barnsley.


The Administrator role is an integral, active role in the team that contributes to and supports the delivery of the service.


The Administrator is the first point of contact for all key partners, including service users, professionals and families and will be conversant with all relevant information relating to accessing support and help from all manner of young people's emotional wellbeing and mental health services across Barnsley.


The Administrator will act as the 'front door' for all incoming enquiries as such they will demonstrate excellent telephone communication skills and have a natural aptitude for customer care.


Safeguarding will be an integral aspect of the role, as such the post-holder will promote children's welfare at all times.

Discretion and confidentiality must be maintained at all times.

As the first point of contact for partners the administrator will have a basic understanding of other services available in Barnsley.
