    With Intelligence is a top provider of data on, and for, the alternative asset management industry. Our platform and events connect investors and managers to the right people and data to raise and allocate assets effectively. The company has approximately 500 employees located in offices in the UK, US, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Singapore. Having recently been acquired by a successful technology investor, we are now looking to take the business forward and further evolve as a data and analytics product led business.

    The Role

    The Head of Thought Leadership is a critical role at With Intelligence that requires leadership and both strategic and operational excellence. The role will be responsible for working across the business in delivering a variety of content streams and product enhancements that support the entire customer engagement journey.

    As Head of Thought Leadership, you will drive the creation and development of engaging data-led and content-led insights and product development that showcase the benefits of With Intelligence's data and expertise supporting the asset management industry. You will be targeting both our existing subscribers and potential new ones, using innovative and creative storytelling formats across primarily, but not solely, digital channels.

    This is a hands-on role with a view of building your own team. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for creating compelling thought leadership content and propositions that differentiate our products and services in the market.

    Responsibilities

    • Devise, direct and implement the Thought Leadership strategy, working with proposition leads and functional stakeholders (including sales, marketing, customers, editorial, and data research)
    • Create compelling, on-brand data reports and visualizations that inform and engage readers. These will include interactive web pages, static PDFs and charts, visual essays and more — from concept through completion
    • Drive the Thought Leadership product strategy by developing a deep understanding of customer usage, competitor products and market trends, and translate that intelligence into product requirements for product enhancements and/or new product development
    • Accountable for the on-time and on-budget delivery of product enhancements and/or responsible for driving the development of new products/features within the Thought Leadership segment
    • Develop and manage an initial team of two, being accountable for its professional success and growth, setting the strategic direction and team priorities
    • Partner with data research, editorial and events to leverage our extensive proprietary database, intel and industry connections to drive a pipeline of industry reports, briefs and analytical content as well as new product opportunities
    • Collaborate with the product marketing and brand teams to design and develop content for our digital channels, including our brand website
    • Create and manage a set of scheduled data reports whilst also fostering an agile environment to experiment with ideas and act quickly on new data sets / trends
    • Ensure all content has a clear purpose aligned to the overarching brand content and product strategies, business objectives and key KPIs
    • Identify data-driven insights and trends from large data sets, with a focus on quality and accuracy
    • Act as an ambassador and raise With's profile as a data and analytics product with industry bodies and speaking at industry events and with the media
    Requirements
    • Extensive experience producing research commentary and data analysis, as well as product management
    • Proven business and data acumen, reporting capabilities and focus on measurable outcomes
    • Willingness to experiment, take risks and creatively think of new angles to interpret data from across the business, while maintaining a high standard of accuracy in published content
    • Analytical skills, with fluency in Excel and SQL. Additional data science and programming skills highly desirable
    • Project management track record, highly organised and attentive to detail
    • Ability to angle content for a specific audience and a passion for data-driven storytelling
    • A proven relationship builder who can work collaboratively with and influence stakeholders across diverse teams, supporting at all levels of the company
    • Clear understanding of responsive design, content and conveying complex information in a way that readers can easily digest
    • Affinity to the asset management industry, alternative investments / private markets, and/or asset allocation is a significant benefit
    • Relevant industry experience, ideally in business information services or asset management
