Your New Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent, site-based Electrical Operative to join our Severn Bridge team in Bristol.
Our Severn Bridge account is to support Highways England Avonmouth and Severn Bridges.
This account is responsible for the cyclic maintenance, daily structure inspection checks and safety patrols as well as responding to any incidents that impact the structural integrity of the bridges.
Electrical Operative plays an important part in all aspects of electrical installation and maintenance works. Also, undertake emergency call out and standby when required.The standard hours of work are 37.5h. Shift pattern to be discussed at interview.

You will be responsible for:
- Assist electrical testing of street lighting
- Carry out routine maintenance
- Install electrical equipment
- Working at heights of up to 12 metres
- High demand for Physical tasks ie. Digging
- There will be a requirement to work some unsociable hours and overtime
- Must have a mature and professional attitude to work, be resourceful and capable of working independently and as part of a team

- Appropriate qualification to electrical trade
- Full UK driving licence
