£25,000 - £28,000

A fantastic opportunity for a recent Graduate with an interest in Events and Marketing to join an Global Engineering company based in London.

You will have a relevant degree, ideally Events/Marketing/Business with excellent communication skills and a proactiveapproach.


THE ROLE:


Events & Awards:


  • Provide administration support for events that attract and are attended by specific clients, this includes the event ideas, invitations, personal contact and arranging transport where necessary.
  • To attend events as required, and to assist the events manager with the arrangements that will ensure the event runs smoothly from start to finish. (This may occasionally include work out of usual office hours.)
  • Assist in reporting and keeping track of all events including response monitoring and reporting.
  • Update the events database and calendar and keep events manager informed accordingly.
  • Support events manager with calls and chasing suppliers for all invoice and administrative requirements for each event
  • Assist with all elements of design work Operationsstaff/group conferences as and where required.
  • Supporting the events manager by ensuring the database is kept up to date and accurate. This can be used as an effective marketing tool for the company where required.

Social Media Management:


  • Work with the team to ensure social media is kept updated to ensure aligns with the events and awards calendar.
  • Work with the Social Media and Digital Marketing Coordinator to develop lowcost, highimpact social media campaigns that help build audience, promote brand and drive engagement.

Graphic Design / Media:


  • Design marketing collateral (using tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).
  • Video production for social media and internal communications.

THE PERSON:


  • Academic or Professional qualifications with a Marketing focus to a degree level or equivalent experience.
  • 12 years' experience in a marketing environment.
  • A good understanding of MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Basic knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Adobe Advanced InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop experience preferred
  • Website CMS system such as WordPress / Drupel experience preferred
  • Creative flair and an eye for detail.
  • Knowledge of SEO, Content Marketing and techniques
  • The ability to be proactive, and always seeking to improve.
  • Excellent presentation and project management skills.
  • The ability to project a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  • Personable and a 'can do' attitude.
  • The ability to work as part as a team, collaboratively and cooperatively.
