    Responsibilities

    • Install, inspect, and repair gas equipment, including boilers, furnaces, water heaters, and pipelines.
    • Troubleshoot issues and perform repairs to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
    • Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of gas systems to prevent potential problems.
    • Perform gas leak detection and rectification, following safety protocols and industry standards.
    • Collaborate with customers to assess their requirements, answer questions, and provide advice on gas-related matters.
    • Keep accurate records of service performed, materials used, and customer interactions.
    • Stay updated on industry regulations, safety guidelines, and emerging technologies in the gas field.
    • Act as a point of contact for customers, addressing their concerns and providing technical support.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate job scheduling, parts ordering, and project completion.
    • Adhere to health and safety procedures and guidelines at all times.
    Requirements
    • Proven experience as a Gas Field Service Engineer or in a similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of gas systems, equipment, and related regulations.
    • Familiarity with gas-related troubleshooting and repair techniques.
    • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.
    • Strong communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Organisational and time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
    • Relevant certifications and qualifications in gas engineering or a related field.
