    Career Opportunity:
    Senior Developer
    • Client Facing Technology Team Our esteemed client, one of Northern Ireland's most reputable companies and market leader in its field, is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer to join a new team they are building out.
    This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of client connectivity platforms.

    Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of our client's cutting-edge platforms.


    Responsibilities:
    Develop robust client connectivity applications to optimize maintainability and scalability. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Architecture, QA, Business Analysts, Product Managers, and Support Teams. Work within an Agile environment, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines. Provide Level 3 support for production systems, ensuring seamless operations.


    Qualifications:

    Essential:
    Proven experience in building systems using FIX Protocol. Extensive expertise in Java development at a senior level. Proficiency in a scripting language such as JavaScript or Python. Strong familiarity with version control systems such as GitLab or GitHub. Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies. Demonstrated ability to provide Level 3 support for production systems.


    Desired:
    Domain knowledge in financial services. Familiarity with Rapid Addition Platform or similar FIX Messaging Hubs. Experience deploying and configuring applications in Amazon Web Services (AWS). Proficiency with DevOps technologies such as Ansible, Jenkins, Groovy, or TeamCity. Knowledge of database technologies including SQL. Exposure to messaging platforms such as Solace.
