The Role

You will have the opportunity to;

  • Work on laboratorybased analytical projects, this may include; discussions with clients, preparation of project plans, technical oversight of analytical work, conducting complex analysis, review of data and presentations to clients. The specific technicalareas will be driven by your current expertise as well as your personal development objectives.
  • Retain and develop technical skills and knowledge by maintaining awareness of scientific literature to assist work progression, contribute to upskilling junior team members and contribute to and support team improvement suggestions.
  • Contribute to company goals and operate in accordance with our company values.
  • Build excellent customer relationships through proactive communication and presentation of data to the client if required.

Sounds great What we are looking for from you:

  • BSc or higher in an analytical, chemical or related scientific field with demonstrated, relevant experience.
  • Practical experience with some separation science techniques including;
  • HPLC
  • LC-MS
  • GC-MS
  • Ion Chromatography
  • GPC
  • TLC
  • Inquisitive and passionate person whose values align with our business core values of; Aim High, Be True and Own It
  • Knowledge of method development and validations within a GMP environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve.
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines; a "right first time" approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, think and work independently, problemsolve, work in teams and multitask.
  • Able to identify and highlight own training needs, and proactively upskill as well as training and mentoring more junior team members.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills; IT Literate.

Working Hours

  • Full time (37.5hrs per week)
