    Learner Support Officer - Multiply

    Job description

    Temporary Fixed Term Grant funded to 31/12/2024.

    Full time 37.00 hours per week

    We are currently looking for a Learner Support Officer to join our team.

    support the service in Neath Port Talbot in delivery of the Multiply Project by providing monitoring and learner support to the Adult Community Learning Team. Ensuring the systems are robust for Welsh Government funding.

    The main duties of the post;

    1.To support the Senior Team Lead by completing documentation for Welsh Government in compliance with funding requirements.

    2. To visit courses to provide class support as required by the service.

    3.To support the Adult Community Learning team to include any aspect of data input.

    4.To support tutors and undertake group guidance sessions at the end of courses to aid learners' progression.

    5.To provide 1:2:1 guidance and support when and if required.

    6.To support the tutors to provide a range of interventions to learners that can help to improve their learning and employability prospects.

    7. To complete general administrative duties relevant to the learner support administration processes

    8. To process learner enrolment forms and induction documents.

    9. To ensure the induction process is robust for of all new learners in the areas.

    10.To deal with queries regarding learner participation and support with reducing barriers to learning.

    You will have experience in/of;

  • Experience of group and individual learner support.
  • The ability to process and monitor learner information and track progress. To use spreadsheets to record and update information
  • Basic awareness of Health & Safety at work in an office environment
  • Ideally you will have;

    The post requires

  • 4 GCSE's grade A to C or above, including English Language and Mathematics, or a qualification of a comparable level (e.g. Intermediate GNVQ Level 2, BTEC First Certificate, NVQ Level 2).
