Express Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with one the UK's fastest growing electrical equipment providers.Due to continued growth resulting in the opening of a brand-new modern Nottingham office, our client is seeking to bolster their team with the addition of a Senior Electrical/Electronic Engineer.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop firmware concepts to support the functionality of smart technology products Assess electrical/electronic designs and manufacturing/testing processes and put forward improvement proposals Utilise C coding language across embedded firmware development tasks and support Junior Engineers with coding tasks Support wider cross functional departments Take ownership for the successful creation of PCB circuit designs and schematics using Altium Designer Utilise CANbus and Modbus protocols across multiple projects Education & ExperienceDegree qualified in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar subject Proven proficiency in embedded firmware development using C language, PlatformIO and 32bit processors Well versed with CAN bus and MODbus technologies Proficient user of Altium Designer for producing schematics Industry knowledge regarding IEC standards highly desirable but not essential as training provided About Express RecruitmentExpress Recruitment has been offering exceptional recruitment solutions across the East Midlands since 1987, "exceeding expectations every time" of over 267,000 candidates.
