I am working on a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join my clients expanding Engineering department.

This role will develop the maintenance team, to add support to the team leader whilst optimising the preventative maintenanceschedules & projects therefor increasing the sites operational efficiency.

  • Help to deliver machinery/factory improvement projects.
  • Act as a support bridge between shifts and Days maintenance team and team leader.
  • Prepare department, machinery, and factory for shutdowns.
  • To support engineering and operations as directed when required including contractors.
  • Ensure breakdowns are attended promptly and resolved properly, using all resources at your disposal.
  • Ensure preventative maintenance is conducted in a prompt but conscientious manner.
  • Any other additional duties as requested by team leader that they are trained and/ or capable of performing as necessary.

Requirements:


  • Apprentice trained electrical discipline with a recognised apprenticeship.
  • HNC/HND or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering.
  • Fully experienced in Electrical fault finding & diagnosis.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within heavy industry (Steal or Paper)
  • To work within a flexible team environment.
  • Strong PLC & Controls knowledge.
  • Understand and have worked with DC Motors.
  • Worked on panel replacements and Re wiring.
