Position Title:
Materials Controller


Location:
Paneltex, Hull Somerden Road


Hours of work: 40 hours per week - Mon-Thur / Fri


Salary:
Up to £12


Other Benefits:

Job Overview


A highly motivated individual is required to work with the production & stores, the principal role is to collect and deliver materials between site and to and from the production workstations daily.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with materials supervisor and production line management to maintain stock to suit given storage and production levels.
  • Collect/Pick stock from multiple locations to meet the line requirements.
  • Assist with continuous improvement of the materials management process.
  • Maintain relevant documentation where appropriate.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Good interpersonal skills required to get the right result without confrontation
  • Experience of line feeding with an understanding of storage solutions/processes
  • Persistence/tenacity
  • Good communication skills; verbal, phone & electronic
  • Willingness to learn about the product
  • Use of barcode warehouse management systems and equipment
