Marketing Assistant at WatchHouse.

In short:
The Marketing Assistant is integral to the successful operation of the Marketing Department and the wider business.

They support the work of the Marketing Team on new and existing projects, launches, events and activations to ensure success.

The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for managing marketing collateral, ensuring it is on brand and created and distributed on time.

Some of the work is administrative, but a creative flair is essential and is a key component of the role.


Directly reports to (Line Manager): Brand Manager.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate social media planning, management and content selection.
  • Manage new product uploads to ecommerce uploading new products to the website and promotion via our owned digital channels.
  • Being the first point of contact for all local PR outreach and managing accordingly.
  • Coordinate logistics, handle registrations for awards, events and activations.
  • Responsible for conducting monthly competitor research & analysis presenting findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Supporting with the opening of New Houses, including and not exclusive to;
  • Ordering assets
  • Liaising with local PR to promote the opening
  • Organising social posts
  • Creating and updating all digital requirements
  • Creating promotional POS
  • Providing the House Manager with the tools to engage with the local community and local businesses
  • Being the gatekeeper to the Design Team for new menu updates/label changes/adhoc promotional updates ensuring all assets are proofed, on brand and signed off by HOD, sent to print and owning that process.
  • Assisting in any adhoc requirements for the execution of new campaigns/product launches.
  • Assisting the Brand Manager with local partnerships.
  • Assisting the Marketing Team with any tasks required.

  • Excellent communicator to manage internal and external expectations and deadlines.
  • Ability to look at projects from a longerterm perspective.
  • Proven ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working in a fastpaced, startup environment.
  • Copywriting experience with printed and digital assets.
  • Strong attention to detail.
