    As our London team grows, we're seeking a hands-on Digital Workplace Manager to join us. In this pivotal role, you'll lead the oversight of our company's infrastructure, internal software, and hardware tools. Your expertise will be instrumental as you serve as the primary point of contact for tech support, guiding our team members from onboarding to offboarding. Additionally, you'll take charge of managing essential company hardware, including conference room technologies.

    The Role

    Azure Infrastructure Management:

    • Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
    • Design, implement, and manage cloud network architecture to ensure high availability, reliability, and security.
    • Implement cost management strategies to control Azure expenditure.

    Microsoft 365 Management:

    • Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
    • Ensure data security and compliance within the Microsoft 365 environment.

    Managing Third Party SaaS Tools:

    • Evaluate, implement, and manage third-party SaaS tools to enhance productivity and efficiency.
    • Monitor the performance and cost-effectiveness of these tools.

    Desktop Lifecycle Management:

    • Supervise the full lifecycle of desktop, from provisioning to retirement.
    • Implement and manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions for company devices, integrating security tools to ensure data protection.

    Review Vulnerability and Penetration Test Results:

    • Analyse vulnerability and penetration test results to identify potential security weaknesses, in either cloud infrastructure, applications or 3rd party SaaS.
    • Provide expert advice and prepare remediation actions to address identified issues, utilizing security tooling for threat mitigation.

    Procurement of Hardware, Software and Services:

    • Coordinate the procurement of IT hardware, software licenses, and services.

    Staff and Contractor Onboarding/Offboarding:

    • Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for staff and contractors, ensuring the provisioning and de-provisioning of accounts, access permissions, and assets.
    • Collaborate with HR and department managers to streamline the onboarding and offboarding workflows.

    Security and Compliance:

    • Evaluate, implement, and manage security tooling and services.
    • Collaborate with the compliance team to maintain and audit IT security policies and procedures.
    • Utilise security tooling to monitor and enforce compliance with relevant standards and regulations, including GDPR, ISO27001, SOC2, and other industry-specific requirements.

    Disaster Recovery:

    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive disaster recovery plan for critical internal services, incorporating security tooling for threat detection and response.
    • Conduct regular testing and updates of the DR plan, ensuring security measures are aligned with business continuity goals.

    The skills required

    • Proven experience in Azure infrastructure management, cost control, cloud networking, security tooling, IDM, and staff/contractor onboarding/offboarding.
    • Strong knowledge of scripting languages.
    • Proficiency in vulnerability and penetration testing, as well as remediation strategies.
