    2x Controls Systems Engineers (Vehicle Dynamics & Powertrain) - EV & Motorsport - Northamptonshire - £40k to £70kMy client is seeking two highly skilled Controls Systems Engineers to join their dynamic team.

    One position will focus on Vehicle Dynamics Controls, while the other will concentrate on Powertrain Controls.

    As a Controls Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing control strategies to optimize vehicle performance, handling, and efficiency.

    My client compete in Global Motorsport and are extremely competitive in their championship, you will contribute to their success on the grid developing cutting edge Vehicle Simulation tools and Vehicle Dynamics software's.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define control system requirements for vehicle dynamics or powertrain applications.
    Design, develop, and validate control algorithms using simulation tools and real-world testing.
    Conduct analysis and optimization of control systems to meet performance targets, including stability, traction, fuel efficiency, and emissions.
    Support integration of control systems into vehicle platforms, working closely with hardware and software teams.
    Participate in vehicle testing and validation activities, including track testing and on-road evaluations.
    Continuously monitor industry trends and advancements in control systems technology to identify opportunities for improvement.


    Requirements:


    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master's degree preferred).Proven experience in control systems development, particularly in vehicle dynamics or powertrain applications.

    Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and other relevant simulation tools.
    Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics principles and control theory.
    Experience with real-time embedded systems and software development.
    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
