    Are you highly organized with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm and empathetic under pressure?

    If so, we have registered a fantastic opportunity within a wonderful charity that could be the perfect role for you.

    The successful candidate will provide a high quality and welcoming Reception service.

    This is a full-time, office-based 3-month temporary role with an immediate start.

    Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis. This role will start immediately, so sadly candidates with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered.

    Tmporary Receptionist Responsibilities

  • Provide an efficient and welcoming first point of contact for all visitors.
  • Collect, receive, distribute and process incoming and outgoing post on a daily basis, including franking.
  • Maintain a daily visitor list and issue Visitor Badges as appropriate.
  • Maintain the reserved parking register and update it as necessary.
  • Maintain effective telephone communications at all times; managing incoming calls, taking and distributing messages electronically in a timely manner and with full use of the CallSwitch system.
  • Accept incoming deliveries.

    Temporary Receptionist Requirements

  • Experience within an administrative and/or Receptionist role.
  • Demonstrate understanding of confidentiality and GDPR principles.
  • Able to work independently and on own initiative, within specified guidelines or processes.
  • Able to work appropriately with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Able to work calmly and professionally under pressure.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word.
