A highly rated UK law firm headquartered in London is seeking a Head of Risk and Compliance to support their growing firm. This is a really exciting opportunity to deliver the firm's compliance strategy, oversee complaints handling and work with regulators. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, chair the compliance committee and have autonomy to prepare the firm for future growth.

Responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing new compliance systems, policies and procedures
• Developing workflows for client onboarding, AML and sanctions, matter risk assessments, and conflicts checks, and approving procedures
• Managing the risk register
• Training and supporting staff members
• Handling complaints
• Managing SRA compliance and handling all related queries
