They have a vast portfolio of developments across a wide range of sectors, being involved in projects ranging from £500k - £10bn.

The Project

Various new build and refurbishment rail projects across the Uk with values ranging from £50k - £2m.

Requirements:

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

Ideally degree in an Engineering Field

It is also essential that you hold the skills & experience below;

Knowledgeable of AutoCad
Previous experience in a Civil Design Position

The Role

Job Title: Design Cooridnator
Job Type: Permanent
Project: Various Rail Developments
Reporting to: Practice Director / Engineering Manager

Duties

Make sure designs are buildable and represent value for money by coordinating with construction teams
Ensure consistency and quality of deliverables across the entire project by collaborating with the wider design team.
Meet technical and project requirements with innovative, costeffective design solutions
Manage the production of engineering designs, calculations, and calculations
Performing tasks such as Task Manager, Designer, Checker, or Approver when needed.
Presentation of engineering options, conceptual outlines and detailed designs.
Ensure that the work is completed according to the programme, budget, and specification.
Assist and support the Engineering Manager in any way that is required
