    Lead Business Analyst - London Market / Lloyd's of London - Permanent - Hybrid/London

    Are you ready to be part of an industry disrupting Specialty Insurer that puts innovation at the forefront?

    A Lead Business Analyst is required for a London/Lloyd's Market Insurer. You will function as a bridge between stakeholders and different business units, supporting and translating needs across multiple functions. You will be a lead for a team of Business Analysts within their Data, Analytics & Pricing Change team. You will work to support a pipeline of R&D and innovation exploration by assessing proposals, defining solutions, working with the architecture and delivery teams, and conducting process modelling to ensure optimal functionality.

    We are looking for a Lead Business Analyst with strong leadership skills coming from the specialty insurance market who has previous experience across Data, Analytics, and Pricing projects.

    This is a permanent opportunity paying up to £100,000 with 3 days working from their London based office.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead Business Analysts within the Data, Analytics & Pricing Change team to support strategic long-term goals
    • Create detailed requirement specifications and development plans, encompassing functional requirements, definition methodologies, JAD/RAD sessions, process flow diagrams, and use case development
    • Present and promote cost-effective, actionable solutions following the assessment of requirements
    • Assist in crafting proposals and business cases for change initiatives, facilitating the identification of solutions, and aiding in articulating the associated benefits
    • Engage with stakeholders to align expectations, communicating changes and engaging diplomatically

    Requirements:

    • Experience as a Lead Business Analyst in Lloyd's / London Market Insurance
    • Strong Leadership skills, with extensive experience leading and developing a team of high performing individuals
    • Experience working on Data, Analytics, and Pricing projects
    • Strong relationship management skills, with a keen eye for detail and an excellent analytical thinker
    • Experience in the end-to-end cycle of projects
    • Experience in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methodologies
    • Strong relationship management, including senior team management and stakeholder engagement
    • Pro-active individual, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities
