    An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Business Services Team for a Continuous Improvement Officer.

    The successful candidate will be joining a small, positive, and proactive team. We pride ourselves on being friendly, efficient and helpful whilst always working to learn and develop to continually improve the services we offer.

    The role is suitable for a range of candidates from those with an administrative background looking for the next step in their career or a more experienced candidate who has some prior experience and knowledge of business planning, performance management or data protection.

    The role supports the Senior Continuous Improvement Officer and Business Planning Manager in providing internal managers with advice and support on business services including business planning, risk management, performance management, data protection and vacancy control.

    The role is career graded from £24,708 to £32,004 and the successful candidate may be appointed at any point within that range, depending on experience. A training plan will be agreed with the successful candidate to ensure they are fully supported to gain the knowledge and experience to progress through the career grades.

    About the Role

    The role is permanent and there is one post available.

    The main duties include:-

  • Resolving queries and providing advice and guidance to internal managers and colleagues on a broad range of topics (. business planning, risk management, performance management, data protection and vacancy control)
  • providing, analysing and maintaining data, information and reports
  • maintaining and developing the department's performance system
  • Tasks and responsibilities will be based on the individuals place within the career grading scheme.
