As a Senior Licensed Conveyancer reporting to the Head of Department, you will be providing excellent legal support to mortgage lender clients and act as a key member of the Secured Lending and Repossession Sales Management team.
Handling first or second charge, lender-only or dual representation, and private individual or company mortgages.
Repossession/receiver sale conveyancingChecking legal titles/conveyance documentation and reporting to clientsIdentifying risks to clients and, whenever possible, providing solutions or mitigation measuresPreparing ad hoc legal documentsLiaising with clients, agents, brokers, borrowers, asset managers, buyers' and borrowers' solicitors, internal depts and any other parties as necessaryUsing case management systems on a day-to-day basisAnswering general legal questions and queries from clients and team members as a senior person in the departmentAssisting with departmental reporting, billing, and general administrative duties when requiredMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMinimum two years PQE as a Licensed Conveyancer or Property Solicitor.An extensive background in conveyancing is essential.
