Working closely with the Head of Finance, you would act in a supportive capacity as his No 2.

As Group Finance Executive, your duties will include:

  • Monthly bookkeeping for both the property development and land planning arms of the business
  • Preparation and processing of regular payment runs
  • Maintaining the creditor tracker and updating reports on all current projects
  • Liaising with suppliers in relation to invoices and payment dates
  • Liaising with external accountants in relation to the quarterly VAT returns for various companies within the Group
  • Preparation of information for quarterly reporting to banks
  • Liaising with external accountants, lawyers and/or the student accommodation management team, and other advisers, in both the UK and Jersey
  • Dealing with ad hoc tasks as required

The Person:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in accounting
  • The ability and versatility to work in a highspeed environment
  • Welldeveloped skills in MS Excel (macro level would be an advantage)
  • Confident and outgoing personality, somebody who really wants to be a part of this highly successful business and who is committed to learning and developing under the Head of Finance


In return, our client is offering a competitive base salary together with 20 days annual leave plus a 2 week shutdown over the Christmas period.

This role would work out of funky and modern offices based just outside Oxford Circus tube station; there isa bar, a pinball machine and break-out areas, as well as organised social events to be enjoyed in the heart of London.
