Marketing Manager

£270 a day 3 days a week

The Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Manager to join a rapidly-growing daily newsletter that brings readers the news and views at speed.

As Marketing Manager day to day you will be responsible for organising and actioning all marketing activity relating to the newsletter, including advertising, sponsorships, events and social media.

The Role:

*Your role will be to implement marketing strategies to sustain rapid growth for the newsletter:

*Using email marketing platform for data analysis, reader surveys, winback campaigns, and support liaison.

*Managing website and app content for branding and marketing

*Organizing sponsorships and collaborations within budget constraints

*Supporting the Advertising Director with brand placements and KPI reporting, presenting clear data to management

*Managing and expanding social media presence (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook) including coordination with external paid social media agencies,

*Maintaining brand focus through collaboration with designers and copywriters, and organizing events.

*Office management including submitting expenses and invoices to external admin support, replying to the customer service inbox, subscription management, speaking to IT department.

About You:

You're a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys going beyond your remit and is a fast learner.

Strong organisational, numeracy and time-management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.

Basic understanding of Google Analytics desirable.

Basic understanding of InDesign and Photoshop desirable.

Some experience in an administrative role.

Ideally publisher/newsletter background
