    Salary Range: £25,628 - £28,326 per annum
    Work Location: Hybrid working (home and office based in Basingstoke, Winchester, Totton or Fareham)

    The Role:

    We are committed to providing excellent support and customer service to our clients. In this key role, you'll carry out financial assessments via the telephone, online or occasional visits in person. You'll use your first-class numeracy skills, accuracy, and attention to detail, to calculate how much clients are required to contribute towards the cost of care services provided by Hampshire County Council.

    Your excellent communication skills will help you to explain complex calculations with compassion, care and diplomacy. Your empathy will help you to tailor your communication style to meet the needs of clients and to remain calm and professional, when faced with emotional responses during challenging conversations. In return we'll support you in your development, so you can build your knowledge and experience, enabling you to identify and support clients with any welfare benefits they may be entitled to claim.

    Working across a wide geographical area, the team work flexibly, making best use of homeworking and Hampshire County Council hubs. You'll need to be confident in working independently and using your IT skills to embrace full use of digital technology. Your office base will depend on your location within Hampshire.

    Travel Requirements

    You will be required to travel to various locations within Hampshire and it is essential that you have a current drivers' licence and access to a reliable vehicle on a regular basis.
