Management Accountant - c£30,000 - £40,000 Per Annum - Suffolk/Hybrid - Full Time

Reed Accountancy and Finance are proud to be working with a well-established, global industrial organisation in the Suffolk area who require a
Management Accountantto join their finance team reporting to the Finance Business Partner.

The
Management Accountant will assist the management accounts team to ensure that management information is delivered in an accurate and timely manner to meet internal deadlines (where applicable).

They will also provide support to the businesswhilst launching a new CRM and accounting system.

Key Responsibilities:

Production of timely and accurate Management Accounts
Posting of monthly Journals including accruals and prepayments
Month end process of intercompany reconciliations
Completing monthly recharge invoices, actively driving reduction in intercompany transactions.
Support wider team with the introduction of new accounting system
Support with group yearend returns
Assist with balance sheet reconciliations.
Assist with quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
Adhoc reporting and projects as required.

Applicant Strengths and Ideal Requirements:

Selfstarter with ability to use initiative and is organised.
Excellent communication skills, previous training experience is a bonus.
Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal colleagues across various departments.
Team player
Strive for continuous improvement
Attention to detail
Strong IT skills for communication and documentation (ie. Excel, Outlook, and Word)
Accuracy skills for capturing information
ACCA/CIMA (part qualified/QBE considered)
Experience of multicurrency ledgers and foreign exchange an advantage
To be aware of SHEQ requirements, and maintain responsibility for their own safety, health, environment and quality assurance within the capacity of their role.
