My client is on the lookout for a Financial Accountant for a 6-month FTC, based in Newbury. This position is hybrid and there are potential long-term opportunities within the business.

Description

  • Preparation of monthend and yearend accounts
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Cash flow statements and forecasts
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
  • Ensure accurate completeness of receivables and payables
  • Oversee monthly payroll and pensions
  • Management of statutory accounts
  • Maintenance of the Fixed Asset register
  • Calculation of VAT returns
  • Intercompany accounting
  • Taxation duties
  • Liaising with banks and auditors

Profile

  • Immediately available or available within short notice
  • Experienced with monthend and yearend closing is desirable
  • Highly organised and flexible
  • Excellent at query resolution and taking initiative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great organisation and time managements skills
